South Euclid New Business Guide:

City of South Euclid Comprehensive Plan Update:
We have recently updated our Comprehensive Land Use Plan, a process undertaken once every ten years. Please Click Here to view the plan.
Greenfield Community Garden:
The city, in partnership with its affiliate organization, One South Euclid, has completed a streetscape beautification project in the downtown South Euclid business district, at Mayfield & Green. This project includes new bike racks, banners, public art, a guitar from “Guitar Mania”, seating areas, and community garden plots right on the public street. The project has helped attract new businesses to the area and also served as one of the driving forces in the redevelopment of the northeast section of the district. Business Districts:
South Euclid has five distinct business districts, each offering unique attributes.
Cedar-Green Business District:
Home to a variety of small businesses and restaurants, this district sits at our busiest intersection and serves as the gateway to South Euclid, at the point where Beachwood, University Heights, and South Euclid meet.
Cedar-Warrensville Business District:
Home to our newest retail centers, Cedar Center North and Oakwood Commons, this district has become a destination for diners and shoppers.
Mayfield Road Corridor:
The Mayfield Corridor stretches from Warrensville Center Road to the West to Brush High School to the East and is home to Downtown South Euclid at Mayfield & Green. In addition, the Mayfield Corridor features the Museum of American Porcelain Art, located in the Historic Telling Mansion.
Monticello-Green Manufacturing and Industrial District:
This intersection serves as the City’s industrial and manufacturing corridor and is home to a variety of industrial businesses from large manufacturing plants such as Aerocontrolex and Rochling-Glastic to lawn care businesses and auto repair shops.
South Green Road Medical-Educational Corridor:
This area encompasses South Green Road from Mayfield to Cedar and is designed to accommodate medical and professional offices and educational institutions. It is currently home to:

The Economic Development Department offers a wide-range of incentive programs for current and new businesses through the help of our partners at the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce, Cuyahoga County Department of Development, the State of Ohio, and many others.

One South Euclid:
The City has created a community development corporation known as One South Euclid. One South Euclid is led by a board of volunteer community, business, and civic leaders and works closely with the Economic Development Department. For more information on One South Euclid, please Click Here.
Partnership with Notre Dame College:
The City continues to work closely with its largest employer Notre Dame College. As a “College Town for All Ages”, the City works with Notre Dame to attract businesses which appeal to college students, young professionals, families, and people of all ages. Here are some examples of how the Economic Development Department has worked with Notre Dame to improve South Euclid:
